Ericsson Enterprise Wireless Solutions is seeking an energetic and Sr Manager for its Ericsson Private 5G Solution that provides enterprise customers with Private Cellular Network for mission critical business applications and cellular connectivity needs. Sr Manager for Core team will help build Core services and features to the next generation of 5G Private Cellular Network.

What Will You Do? 

Lead and manage a team of engineers focused on the design and implementation of 5G core network solutions.
Implement high performing Core features with orchestration for PCN e-e network solution
Work with Product Owners to understand and fine-tune requirementsAccept and manage calls/tickets from Customer Care, providing primary-level diagnosis.

·      Work closely with service team, including program management, hardware engineers, software developers, and QA teams to deliver robust solutions
·      Work with cross geographical teams and recommend solutions to upper management on way to approach for product optimization.
Ensure fault tickets are managed effectively until closure, maintaining high standards of service and network reliability.
Drive initiatives to enhance core performance and reduce operational challenges.
Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence

Qualifications 

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelors or masters degree in computer science or related field
5+ years of Managing Experience.
In-depth knowledge and/or documented work experience with core functions such as SMF, UPF, AMF, NRF, NSSF, PCF, UDM, AUSF, MME, SAEGW, SPGW, or ePDG.
Experience with Cloud Native Architecture, including microservices and containerization.
Proven work experience in 5G, CUPS, and LTE technologies.
General understanding of standard networking protocols and components such as HTTP, DNS, TCP/IP, ICMP, and load balancing.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make informed, data-driven decisions.
Excellent communication and coordination skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

·       Experience with Dockers, VMs, Kubernetes, CICD
·       Good written and verbal communication abilities

Preferred Qualifications: 

·       Experience in Go
·       IMS, VOLTE, MCPTT is huge plus
·       Experience in Networking
