Your Key Responsibilities
Grow our portfolio of fragrances across the South Asia cluster.
Develop successful working relationships with clients at all levels, influencing their choice of suppliers and establishing dsm-firmenich as a key partner. Facilitate senior strategic relationships between dsm-firmenich & customers.
Get clear and complete briefings from clients; translate their needs into dsm-firmenich projects, brief creation, and development teams. Anticipate clients' needs and lead proactive projects to generate new business opportunities across formats and geographies.
Build, communicate, and implement clear and measurable account strategy & objectives.
Build the account sales budget annually, monitor sales & profitability versus objectives. Master company database systems to support internal and client requests.
Issue comprehensive action reports based on client briefs and proactively manage the project pipeline. Share visit reports, client information, and feedback; conduct post-mortem analysis when needed.

Minimum of 12 years of working experience in sales or technical functions, preferably in FMCG/Consumer Fragrance/Ingredients and managing Global Accounts. Bachelor's or master's degree or equivalent (Business Administration, Chemicals, Science).
Ability to develop strong client relationships at senior levels and position dsm-firmenich as a Partner of Choice. Strong communication, problem-solving, analytical thinking, business acumen, and supply chain understanding.
Advanced sales and negotiation skills. Ability to manage stakeholders and exhibit a high level of interpersonal and communication skills. Leadership (mainly with non-hierarchical partners) and decision-making in fast-paced, high-growth markets.
Extended product expertise (product, technologies, market, consumer, and technical/technology) and passion for fragrance. A strong team player, seen as a key partner by development teams involved in client projects.
