Risk Architecture Reporting, Associate
This role will be responsible for building tableau dashboards to support key initiatives for CCB Risk organization. The role will work closely with other risk teams within CCB and drive discussions with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements and develop actionable dashboards using tableau. The candidate will play a key role in tableau dashboard activities and the responsibilities will include data extraction and integration from multiple sources using complex SQL queries and tools like Alteryx or Trifacta. A strong understanding of the existing data portfolio and a firm understanding on data automation within control guidelines will be critical.
The candidate must be a highly-motivated individual with the ability to successfully manage and execute in a dynamic, fast paced, priority driven and high volume environment. In addition this individual must be able to manage ambiguous business requirements and refine them into an actionable plan of execution.
Work with Stateside partners to gather the requirements, develop Prototype of Dashboard matching the needs and build dashboards using Tableau
Data mining activities, report build and automation, and ability to understand complex data relationships
Identifies areas of improvement with existing processes and develops solutions that meet the needs of CCB Risk Architecture
Identifies areas of improvement with existing processes and develops solutions that meet the business needs
Develop VBA Scripts or implement other best practices to automate the manual process/steps involved in Data Sources integration for the Dashboard.
Assist in defining and documenting new processes
Understands the SDLC and quality assurance/quality control concepts, metrics, methodologies and documentation standards.
Requires minimum 5 - 8 years of Data Integration and Dashboard/Reporting development experience
High level of expertise in SQL, Alteryx, Data Warehousing & Business Intelligence concepts.
Business Reporting and experience with data environments, report writing tools and understanding of complex data relationships
Demonstrated experience in BI tools especially Tableau
Report requirements documentation experience a plus
Hands-on experience in framing up Complex SQL Queries involving Data Analytical functions
Share point automation experience good to have
Experience in VBA/Advanced Excel, Power shell will be a plus
Hands-on experience in preparing/integrating the datasets to match to the reporting requirements
Hands-on knowledge in developing dashboards following AGILE process
Strong analytical, project & change management skills
Bachelor’s degree required; concentration in IT, CS preferred
