Short Description

Develop new accounts and expand Orica’s relationship with existing customers within a specified geographic territory. Work with the relevant ABM to provide account management, facilitate ongoing service and help customers solve their problems within the area to achieve Orica’s goals safety and in compliance with Orica’s policies and procedures.

Long Description

Ensure the safety and protection of fellow employees, customers, the public and the environment by: • Lead by example in SHE through personal attitude and living Orica’s SHE principles • Ensure all legal, regulatory and corporate safety, compliance and environmental standards are met or exceeded • Ensure appropriate risk management techniques are applied to all business, including Take 5’s, CARE Audits, and incident reviews To deliver the operational services to the volume, service type and quality specified by client expectations by: • Responsible for expanding key accounts and developing new business in the sales area, with focus on service-oriented business mining, quarries, underground, and overall business in pipeline & seismic • Prepare sales development plans and budgets; monitor and report results on a monthly basis • Responsible for supporting contract management in area, including pricing, R&F management, BRAD meetings, and contract renewal • Develop commercial strategy to create maximum value for customer and Orica through implementation of product and service initiatives • Use industry, technical and operational knowledge to lead identification, development and implementation of new systems/service offerings to deliver additional customer value • Work closely with customer to develop accurate customer demand forecasting
