About this opportunity
The BNEW SAN Tools Engineering unit is responsible for the development and operations of tools & services used by Ericsson R&D groups.
We are looking for a Product Owner (PO) to take over the Customer Product Information (CPI) Tools area. You will be part of the DevOps team and be responsible for contributing to the product vision and strategy, for creating the product roadmap, and for handling and prioritizing the team backlog. By participating in the tool/service development, your mission as a PO is to improve the user experience by defining a backlog that addresses user needs and helps maintain the technical integrity of the product.
Main interfaces: Strategic Product Manager (SPM), System Architects, Service Operations Manager (SOM), DevOps Teams & Line Management and Stakeholders/Users.
What you will do
• Agile team member primarily responsible for maximizing the value delivered by the team by ensuring that the backlog is aligned with stakeholder and user needs.
• Collaborate closely with the SPM on strategic product planning.
• Create and maintain the product roadmap (in Jira) based on the product vision.
• Handle functional and non-functional requirements.
• Maintain and prioritize the backlog of user stories and tasks.
• Lead the backlog refinement, iteration planning and elaboration of user stories.
• Review and manage the product development progress and follow-up through grooming meetings, demos and weekly status meetings.
• Ensure the team delivers the features in the Release Plan on time and within budget.
• Cooperate with the SOM for planned upgrades, performance and availability management, and escalation of incidents.
• Initiate IT Security Assessment, Statement of Compliance and ITSAC presentation.
• Collaborate with the security team to mitigate vulnerabilities related to the product.
• Drive product related risks, such as security, asset management and data privacy.
• Understand and optimize the product TCO.
• Create and maintain product information (PPM, IT Service Catalog, PRIM, system documentation, release notes and end-user documentation).
• Secure visibility with proper communication, keep contact with the stakeholders and users.
• Contribute to the collaborative and stimulating work environment.
You will bring
• Education: University degree in Engineering or Computer Science, or similar relevant field.
• Minimum years of experience: 5 years working as a Product Owner (knowledge of Product Management and Product Development Lifecycle).
• Domain experience: CPI Tools, Cloud Infrastructure, SaaS, Security & Privacy, DevOps.
• Experience in AI/ML is a definite asset.
• In-depth knowledge of Agile process and principles.
• Strong stakeholder/user engagement skills and team management.
• Consistent track record of working effectively in team environments by demonstrating the ability to collaborate with colleagues to achieve goals and deliver quality results.
• Ability to manage and work with subcontractors/suppliers as members of the DevOps team.
• Outstanding communication, presentation, and leadership skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Good understanding of budget planning, resource planning and delivery execution.
