Join one of the most exciting Ecommerce technology SaaS companies in Chennai About the role: TargetBay is looking for a talented SaaS Product Marketing Manager with exceptional storytelling experience to join the Marketing team and lead all product marketing efforts for the company. You’ll be responsible for presenting our products, most importantly BayEngage, our email marketing and customer engagement product in ways that will strengthen our brand and boost sales on popular eCommerce platforms such as Shopify, BigCommerce, WooCommerce, Magento, and more You'll be responsible for planning and implementing customer-facing promotions including new buyer acquisition, current buyer engagement, and more. Your goal will be to develop and implement the most profitable plans to position and promote our products. Ideal Candidate Background Minimum 5 years of direct experience marketing products for a B2B tech SaaS company or a social impact brand. Understanding of digital marketing tactics, including SEO, email marketing, and web analytics. Knowledge of eCommerce platforms - Shopify, WooCommerce, BigCommerce, and Magento would be a big plus. Ability to consistently meet tight deadlines. Energized by a little uncertainty and in situations where things are continually evolving. Exceptional research and communication skills: Messaging & Positioning - Develop feature positioning and messaging that resonates with prospects & customers and differentiates TargetBay’s products in the market. Content Development – Conceptualize and create educational product and solution content for a variety of marketing collaterals. Launches - Manage platform launches, release processes across products, sales, customer support, and other stakeholders. Market, customer, and competitive analysis — Be the expert on the customer, the industry trends, and the players in the market. Sales enablement – Communicate value proposition and provide high-value sales tools, sales plays, training, and collateral. Customer Engagement - Develop an understanding of our buyer personas through customer interactions and champion customer voice to product management and engineering teams. Campaigns - Own campaigns to increase feature adoption. Architect, manage, sign-off campaign messaging, brand videos, digital strategy with cross-functional teams. People Management - Ability to manage, mentor, and lead a team of Product Marketers. Responsibilities include: Develop product messaging that differentiates TargetBay’s products - BayEngage, BayReviews, BayServe, BaySmart, BayPics, and BayAds from others in the market Maintain and manage competitive intelligence and comparisons by working with cross-functional stakeholders and executing self-lead research Communicate the value of new products to the sales and marketing team Develop product marketing strategies (pricing, advertising, product launching) Craft compelling messages across marketing channels (landing pages, ad campaigns) Work with various teams (design, content, acquisition, product, sales) to implement strategies Assist sales on calls when appropriate to provide deeper dives into the product Develop and implement promotional activities such as promotions and product launches Use market research data to determine product pricing Create product content such as case studies, videos, website copy, and blog posts Gain insight into customer use of current products, untapped opportunities, and buyer personas especially in online reviews and email marketing segments.
