Duties Evaluate the role of Wal-Mart Stores as Publishers in the realm of Digital Out of Home Advertising. Grow advertising revenue by identifying new opportunities, developing strategic programs, and executing upon those strategies by delivering new advertising solutions for customers. Research the digital marketing ecosystem and players including advertising partners, agencies, technology partners, and competitors in order to inform product priorities. Interface with vendors, partners, and clients on technical matters throughout the product life cycle. Develop content creation and monetization strategies to solve for co-selling, distribution, and measurement challenges. Responsible for the creation, prioritization, and implementation of functional specifications, technical requirements, and business justifications for advertising product development. Design and develop software systems and use scientific analysis and mathematical models to predict and measure the outcome and consequences of designs. Drive product requirement definitions, research, metrics analyses, technical specifications, Key Performance Indicator (KPI) development, testing, and other launch efforts. Work cross-functionally to manage bottlenecks, provide escalation management, anticipate and make trade-offs, balance the business needs versus technical constraints, and maximize business benefit while building great customer experiences. Use big data tools like Hadoop, Teradata, and Hive to identify, analyze, and leverage the search pattern of online customers and build features for sponsored ads products. Lead the design and implementation of various machine learning models by vertical to ensure a differentiated ad experience by category. Build campaign dashboard using visualization tools like Tableau and DOMO to enable operations and campaign management teams make data driven decisions and optimize performance. Conduct A/B testing for product launches by using statistical models for hypothesis testing. Partner with engineers across the software development life cycle and perform beta testing before the launch and deployment of new products. This position does not supervise employees. Minimum education and experience required Bachelors degree or the equivalent in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering (any), or related field and 4 years of experience in product management, technology consulting, or related field; OR Masters degree or the equivalent in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering (any), or related field and 1 year of experience in product management, technical consulting, or related field. Skills required Experience executing Primary and Secondary research to determine market trends, competition analysis, market size and revenue estimation. Experience building content strategies and monetization strategies. Experience creating business cases for new product development, estimating the revenue potential, estimating future cash flows, and executing return on investment analysis. Demonstrated knowledge of the eCommerce and Advertising Industry. Experience building product strategies and roadmaps and go to market strategies. Experience executing A/B testing and product launches and defining Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) that inform success of a product. Experience querying data from relational databases using SQL and Hadoop. Experience with software engineering. Experience with digital technologies IoT, Sensors, AR/VR, and AI/ML advertising. Experience measuring customer experience and making ad product tradeoffs accordingly. Experience with content transmissions over cloud infrastructures. Employer will accept any amount of experience with the required skills.
