Job Description: We are looking for leader to inspire change in the Supply Chain, Develop and execute plans derived from the strategic plan to maximize Procurement process effectiveness and velocity in the supply chain. Lead initiatives to improve service, including replenishment initiatives and processes. Coordinate cross-functional exchange of ideas and development throughout the supply chain. Duties & Responsibilities: Transformation of the supply chain by revamping the vendor base to deliver on Cost, Quality, Lead Times and Scalability. Lead initiatives that require coordination with Vendors, Operations, Distribution, and Transportation to establish proper level of inventories without impacting customer service. Direct and support the supply chain initiatives of JIT/VMI/Kanban. Develop a plan to drive structural improvement in cost competitiveness and capability of the Supplier network. Direct the control processes including measurement of key performance indicators and recommended actions over the supply chain. Direct staff and other resources in the selection and management of supply chain projects. Responsible for the Bill of Material cost and all mitigating strategies to address cost increases, Travel required. Requirements Qualification: Preferably Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering with Business Administration or a related technical field. Experience: 20 years experience with preferably ten years Managerial experience in supply chain business processes and project management with exposure to world class processes and systems. Must Have skills Worked for Reputed MNCs with SAP experience and Team Management experience of 5 engineers Strong experience in managing and sourcing injection molded components and sheet metal components including precision machined electroplated components. Experience in Automotive or Consumer Electronic Industry Proven experience in management of JIT/VMI programs and Should have managed materials worth 400cr Strong familiarity with categories like Injection Molding, sheet metal, PCBs, machining and In Region sourcing as well as Localization experience. Cost reduction program management experience and Exposure to vendor manufacturing processes and Strong communication and presentation skills
