About the position:

The Planning Scheduling Analyst is part of the Cost Engineering Services team and is responsible for Project Controls functions (Project Cost Control, Cost Engineering, Planning and Scheduling). Builds and directs the Project Controls capabilities. Plans and implements Project Controls procedure, process, system and reporting for Facilities Engineering managed projects.

Key responsibilities:
Develop Schedule Plan, Basis of Schedule and various levels of schedule required for difference phases of the project.

Develop resource loaded Level 3 above schedule using Primavera and coordinate the overall planning and scheduling activities on projects.

Maintain and update overall master integrated project schedule, seeking input, alignment, and approval from project team disciplines and contractors as needed

Coordinate and oversee contractor schedule activities, durations, logic, resource loading and schedule forecast.

Liaise with project team leaders to communicate the overall project schedule, probabilistic range of project schedule outcomes (S-Curve), recommended target completion milestone, and recommended schedule contingency.

Assist the Project Management to co-ordinate subcontractors to ensure that delivery deadlines are met and all activities are adequately planned and scheduled

Interface with Project Controls to assess schedule impacts of change, and update the schedule to reflect additions and changes to the progress of work.

Lead and coordinate schedule assurance activities on the project

Support and participate in Integrated Cost and Schedule Risk Assessments (ICSA)

Collect, interpret, utilize and maintain data and lessons learnt to improve all aspects of planning and scheduling.

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree (B.E./B. Tech) in engineer or related field from a recognized (AICTE) university or trade/craft background

Need strong organizational, analytical, critical thinking skills and be able to recognize and work through hurdles, able to find resolutions to issues.

Able to work across multiple teams with different leadership styles

Ability to understand the project scope and execution methodology providing insights to the execution teams

Preferred Qualifications:
10+ years of planning experience including project design and execution requirements for Oil and Gas projects,

Must be familiar with Primavera.

Knowledge in schedule development and coding

Experience working across interfaces between engineering, procurement, fabrication, and Hook-up and Commissioning.

Chevron ENGINE supports global operations, supporting business requirements across the world. Accordingly, the work hours for employees will be aligned to support business requirements. The standard work week will be Monday to Friday. Working hours are 8:00am to 5:00pm or 1:30pm to 10:30pm.
