ABOUT You : - You are a PL/SQL developer with 4-8 years of experience in designing, coding, tuning, optimizing, testing, security, and everything in between, at industrial-strength levels. - At least 2 years of your recent experience is in PostgreSQL. - You are in essence a go-to-person in DBMS, keenly aware of the innovations in cloud, SaaS, relational thru NoSQL, high availability, scalability, managing multiple releases and probably tons more. - You are careful in your thought process as although we are a startup, our customers are corporate giants. - The thought of joining a growth company and building the core technology offering for our business inspires and motivates you. - Any experience with porting other databases to PostgreSQL or familiarity with supply chain applications will be a major plus. WHAT You will do : - You will be part of the team developing the PostgreSQL version of our Operational Intelligence Product. The current version runs on SAP HANA. - You will be involved in the design and development of the product. - You will redesign and code application modules in PostgreSQL keeping in mind differences between columnar databases and row-based ones. - The team will leverage your in-depth understanding of PostgreSQL to troubleshoot performance and other issues that come up.
