About this role
We're on the lookout for aMobile Architectwho's excited to shape the future of a product used by over 10 million teens (and growing every day!).
In this role, you'll play a key part in designing the mobile architecture that powers our iOS and Android apps — working closely with our founders and amazing cross-functional teams. You'll have the freedom to make big technical decisions, guide the direction of our mobile stack, and build systems that scale beautifully as we grow.

On the Job

Define and own themobile architecture visionacross Mobile apps
Drive modularisation, reusability, and platform components to speed up feature delivery
Establish standards forcode quality, security, performance, and scalabilityin mobile
Partner with Product & Design to ensure seamless UX at scale
Guide teams in debugging, optimising, and scaling mobile apps for millions of users
Work with Backend & Platform teams to define mobile-friendly APIs, caching, and sync strategies
Mentor Tech Leads & Senior Engineers, ensuring architectural consistency across squad
Must-haves (Min. qualifications)

Deep expertise in mobile system architecture and design patterns (MVI, MVVM, Clean Architecture, Redux, etc.)
Proven experience in building consumer-scale apps with 10M+ users, high DAUs, low-latency, and high reliability
Strong command over Android (Kotlin/Java) and iOS (Swift/Objective-C) development
Experience in mobile platform and tooling including modularization, build systems, CI/CD for mobile, and app performance monitoring
Deep understanding of networking, caching, offline-first design, and API design for mobile clients
Experience with scaling complex design systems while maintaining performance
Hands-on experience with observability, performance optimization, and crash-free engineering
Good to have

Experience in fintech, payments, or high-scale transactional apps
Hands-on experience with cross-platform solutions such as Flutter, React Native, Kotlin Multiplatform, Jetpack Compose, or SwiftUI
Prior experience in app security and compliance, including PCI DSS, encryption, secure storage, and fraud detection
Contributions to open-source mobile frameworks
