Manager - Controllership & FinanceAs an Inventory Accountant at Myntra, your responsibilities would include –Responsible for preparing financial reports related to inventory, ensuring accurate reporting formonth-end close process, and presenting insights to stakeholders.Investigate and analyze variances between actual and expected inventory levels, providing insightsinto discrepancies and implementing corrective actions.Leverage inventory management systems and SQL and Python queries to streamline processes,improve efficiency, and enhance data crunching.Identify opportunities for process improvement in inventory management and accounting practices,striving for continuous optimization.Collaborate with teams such as procurement, logistics, and finance to ensure seamless integration ofinventory-related data across the organizationAdvanced analytical skills to analyze inventory trends, variances, and cost structures, facilitatingstrategic decision-making.In-depth knowledge of accounting standards and regulatory requirements related to inventoryaccounting, ensuring compliance with industry standards.Ensure all audit queries by Big 4 audit firms on Statutory, Internal and Physical verification audits areresolved.Ability to adapt to the dynamic nature of the retail industry, especially in a fast-paced e-commerceenvironment like Myntra.Experience : CA with 2 years of experience (Preferably Big4 experience)Skills : Proficient with Indian Accounting standards , understanding of SQL and Python , Ability tolearn and adapt.
