About the company:
Avrio Energy helps consumers save money in their electricity bills. We take consumers' overall energy consumption data from their meters (or our own proprietary high-frequency meter) and use our proprietary algorithms to calculate consumption of each appliance. The unique point of our technology is that we don't need to install any additional sensors. This data is then used to help consumers prevent energy waste, extend the life of appliances through timely maintenance, reduce operational costs and help in buying and upgrading new energy efficient appliances.
About the internship/job:
We are a team of IIT alumni based out of Gurgaon, working towards building the next big thing in energy efficiency. We are developing a solution for guiding energy users on how to optimally use energy in day to day operations. Our core USP is the use of machine learning on overall building electricity consumption data to identify how much electricity each appliance is consuming and when without the need for any additional on load sensors. This ensures that our solution is extremely cost-competitive compared to other IoT based solutions. Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include: 1. Creating and managing the proper data pipeline 2. Creating ML and DL models for energy disaggregation models 3. Managing or improving existing models for more clients and data 4. Conduct a literature review of the research happening in this field
