Logistics Specialist II - ( JOI00001K ) Your Impact Join our ATMP team responsible for depot level logistical support, repair, and warehouse facilities for the maintenance, sustainment, operations, and support of Army Training Aids, Devices, Simulators, and Simulations (TADSS), Live-Fire Ranges, and Instrumentation and Instructional Systems for live, virtual, constructive, and gaming TADSS in worldwide locations. We maintain the tracking, accounting, operational stock, shipping, and receiving of the Armys critical TADSS platforms. These systems include JLCCTC, IEWTPT, TGS, TCDCGS-T, GFT, CBCSE, LVC-IA, MRF, SMART-T, and MILSTAR to support training events and ensure process and product conformance to standard throughout the area of operations. Duties/Tasks and Responsibilities As an ATMP Logistics Specialist, you will be part of the ATMP Team by maintaining adequate serviceable inventory of repairable parts, consumables, and replacement parts at the ATMP Depot, Louisville, KY, for shipment to customers and ATMP locations to meet contract requirements for all ATMP TADSS. Specifically, you will Ensure adequate serviceable inventory of repairable parts, parts, and consumables. Ensure adequate serviceable inventory of man-worn MILES items are available for shipment. Meet contract requirements for turn-around-time for replacement of unserviceable items. Pack, ship, mark, label and account for incoming and outgoing equipment and inventory in accordance with Government and contract guidelines. Provide oversight of Government Furnished Property (GFP), warehouse equipment, and tools and test equipment. Perform inspections and accountability of incoming and outgoing equipment shipments. Work with minimal supervision, documenting inventory and shipment of property and work orders via local and web- based reporting system, providing system functional briefings to customer and supervisor. Perform logistic support requirements such as research, and equipment and spare part inventories. Prioritize schedules and projects to support multiple Central Depot repair and warehousing projects concurrently. Manage customer expectations as the on-site company representative. Maintain strong attention to detail. Maintain a positive attitude and work as a member of a cohesive team as well as independently. Interact with all levels of the organization in a professional, diplomatic, and tactful way. Multi-task efficiently and work in a fast pace environment on multiple projects. Support the cross training and cross utilization of all ATMP team members in a collaborative environment as well as train new members of the team on needed skills supporting ATMP TADSS systems. Perform all other duties as assigned. Here's What You'll Need Preferred Qualifications Demonstrated experience in logistics, inventory and maintenance of more than one ATMP TADSS system. Highly prefer experience with JLCCTC, IEWTPT, GFT / DCGS-A systems. Qualifications Demonstrated experience in logistics, inventory and maintenance of more than one ATMP TADSS system. Highly prefer experience with JLCCTC, IEWTPT, GFT / DCGS-A systems. A relevant Bachelor's degree (or 4 years relevant professional work in place of a degree) is required. Demonstrated experience with digital Inventory, Tracking, Shipping, and Maintenance Management Systems (e.g., MS SharePoint, Inventory Control, Order Management, and others). A self-starter, willing to work independently and take complete ownership of complex problems. Experience with Microsoft applications. Expert communication skills able to coordinate, collect, assimilate and share information gathered from technical and non-technical personnel. Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance. Desired Requirements Demonstrated experience in logistics, inventory and maintenance of more than one ATMP TADSS system. Highly prefer experience with JLCCTC, IEWTPT, GFT / DCGS-A systems. Essential Functions (Enter essential functions that are not listed below under the relevant header) Physical Requirements Most work will be done at a desk or computer. Work Environment General Office environment. The work environment is fast-paced and sometimes involves extreme deadline pressures. The nature of the work requires a high degree of teamwork and cooperation with other members of the staff as well as individuals across the Company and Customers. Equipment & Machines General office equipment including PC/laptop, Fax, Copiers, Shredder, Printers, Telephone, and other miscellaneous office equipment. Attendance Attendance is critical at all times. Must be able to work a 40-hour workweek, normally Monday through Friday. However, times and days may vary depending on business requirements. Needs to be available to work overtime during critical peaks and be available to meet last minute requests for overtime should the situation occur. Other Essential Functions Must be able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing Grooming and dress must be appropriate for the position and must not impose a safety risk/hazard to the employee or others. Must put forward a professional behavior that enhances productivity and promotes teamwork and cooperation. Must be able to interface with individuals at all levels of the organization both verbally and in writing. Must be well-organized with the ability to coordinate and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously. Must work well under pressure to meet deadline requirements. Must be willing to travel as needed. Must take and pass a drug test and background check as well as a motor vehicle records check. Must be a US citizen.
