Koo - Product Designer - Wireframing/Prototyping Tools

Koo is an Indian micro-blogging platform being made for the world. Our vision is to connect people around the world on the basis of their thoughts and language of preference. People connect better and more meaningfully when they can meet and interact with others that speak the same language. With that insight, we cater to millions of users today and help them connect with each other. Users create and share their thoughts in their mother tongue and follow other people to get a customized feed. We are looking to augment our product team with product designers across experience levels. You will be a part of the team that creates a product for a prospective billion users. You will work with a very talented and high-performance team that includes the founder, product managers, other designers and engineers. Role : - Create and design new features & experiences - Improve existing features & experiences - Talk to users to understand needs and pain points - Identify interesting opportunities and solutions to improve input and output metrics - Work to improve existing funnels on the app and web - Work on some of the most interesting problem statements with the product & engineering team Culturally we are looking for people who are/have : - High ownership - Solution oriented - Hunger to achieve - Love for speed of execution Skills & Past Experience: - Atleast 3 yrs experience in mobile and app UI/UX - Experience working with B2C products - Ability to use analytics to make decisions related to funnels - Proven experience in all phases of the design process including user research, copywriting, wireframing, prototyping, visual design, interaction design, and usability testing - An intuitive eye for customer needs beyond the obvious - Attention to detail - Ability to collaborate with cross-functional team members - Ability to collect and interpret both qualitative and quantitative feedback - Ability to effectively communicate and persuade around design concepts - Passion for design; not satisfied with the status quo and always thinking of ways to improve - Creative problem-solving skills - Provide assistance to product engineers when needed - Recommend new tools and technologies by staying abreast of the latest trends and techniques - Degree/Certification in UI/UX Design preferred - Salary and ESOPs are negotiable and dependent on your past experience and compensation.
