Job Title : IT Release ManagerLocation : BangaloreExperience : 12-16 yearsSkills : IT Release Manager, DevopsJob DescriptionRelease Planning and Coordination :Develop and maintain release plans across all integrated systems, ensuring alignment with project timelines.Coordinate release activities across cross-functional teams, including development, QA, and production.Support the major phases of the projects and closely collaborate the integrated systems availability as per the established release plan.Risk Management :Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with releases, ensuring a smooth and seamless deployment process.Implement best practices to minimize downtime and impact on end-users during releases.Deployment Management :Oversee the deployment process, ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of software releases.Collaborate with technical teams to automate and streamline deployment procedures.Communication :Communicate release schedules, progress, and issues to stakeholders, keeping all relevant parties informed.Facilitate post-release reviews and ensure continuous improvement in release processes.Collaboration :Work closely with project managers, development teams, and all partners to align release schedules with overall project timelines.Foster collaboration and communication between different teams involved in the release process.Qualifications :Proven experience as an IT Release Manager or in a similar role.Strong understanding of release management principles and best practices.Experience with deployment automation tools and version control systems.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Preferred Skills :Certification in ITIL or Agile methodologies.Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools.Ability to manage multiple releases simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
