It Manager - Cloud Servers

IT Manager Purpose : Supervises information technology (IT) resources, manages computer systems and software, oversees the development of in house tools for our members, oversees equipment purchasing and installation, and oversees the maintenance of computer networks, connectivity, backups for cloud servers and interfaces with customers on issues. IT Manager Duties : - Coordinates IT support and training and resolving of issues (Which can be hardware, software, payment related) for our members. - Coordinates IT development internally - Ensures efficient and effective technology and Internet access for a group of users - Oversees information security and maintains a network and user security - Implements an IT budget for the organisation as a whole or for specific departments - Tracks inventory and status for hardware and software throughout an organisation - Establishes relationships with technology vendors - Advises about organisation's IT equipment, networking, connectivity and backup. - Supervises IT department staff, including setting schedules, implementing training, and assessing performance - Manages a team of specialists in support, installation, networks, and purchase - Participates in the hiring process of IT resources - Develops and implements emergency plans for equipment, power, or security failure to preserve technology and data - Researches and stays up-to-date regarding new IT equipment and solutions IT Manager Skills and Qualifications : - Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a Related Field - Experience with Cloud Servers, Security, backups and Networks - Experience in managing in house IT Development. - Management, Leadership, Staffing, Computers, Strategic Planning, Problem Solving, Decision Making, Critical Thinking, Written and Verbal Communication, Interpersonal Communication, Teamwork, Attention to Detail, Working Under Pressure (ref:hirist.com)
