Job Description

Develop Business Continuity Disaster recovery plans for accounts

Knowledge of IT processes and life cycles Experience with Infrastructure systems backup software and BIA RPO and RTO strategies Deep understanding of IT DR at both a technical and business level In depth

knowledge of current best practices and technologies and their DR applications

Experience in planning and executing enterprise wide DR testing

Experience working with and managing relationships with 3rd party DR providers Ensure enterprise IT Disaster Recovery

DR capability preparedness for application server network and database systems within Recovery Time Objective
RTO

Coordinate and participate in all IT DR testing to ensure timely recovery capability in the event of a disaster

Analyze impact on and risk to essential business functions or information systems to identify acceptable recovery time periods and resource requirements

Support business during real time incident crisis emergency and act as per the established business continuity plan without time boundary

Write reports to summarize testing activities including descriptions of goals planning scheduling execution results analysis conclusions and recommendations

Maintain strong relationships with key contacts at third party DR data center hosting provider and coordinate all IT DR activities with the contracted DR hosting provider
