Finance Reconciliation - Team Lead

About the Role:We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytically strong Finance Reconciliation Analyst with experience in the travel domain, specifically working with GDS and LCC vendors. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in finance operations, deep understanding of travel booking and settlement processes, and strong hands-on skills in SQL for handling large transactional datasets.

KeyResponsibilities:
1. Performend-to-end reconciliationof bookings, invoices, and settlements related toGDS (e.g., Amadeus, Galileo)andLCC (e.g., Indigo, Air India Express, SpiceJet)vendors.
2. Analyze mismatches in transactions across booking, payment, and accounting systems to ensure data integrity andaccuracy.
3.Buildand runSQL queriesto extract, match, and validate large volumes of transactionaldata.
4.Investigateopen items and variances, and drive timely resolution by coordinating with internal teams (Tech, Ops, Finance) and externalvendors.
5.Preparereconciliation dashboards and reportsfor internal reviews andaudits.
6.Workclosely with Tech/Product teams for process automation and identifying leakagerisks.
7.Participatein monthly/quarterly closure activities and support audit/compliancerequirements.
8. DocumentSOPs, RCA reports, and reconciliation logs in a structured and auditablemanner.
9.Potentiallyleverage Python for data analysis and automation tasks.
Requirements

3–6 years of experience inFinance Reconciliationroles, preferably in thetravel / OTA / fintechindustry
Proficiency inSQL– ability to write optimized queries for large, complex data sets.
Strong knowledge ofGDS and LCC settlement workflows, fare rules, and cancellation/refund processes
Hands-on experience in Excel, Pivot Tables, and financial reporting tools.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an eye for detail
Experience inroot cause analysis (RCA)and identifying leakages in reconciliation processes.
Exposure to accounting principles and financial systems (SAP preferred).
Background in working withpayment gateways, wallets, or UPI transactionsin travel.
