About the Role:As the EUC regional lead APAC, you will join our Global IT Service Operations team, spanning regions and time zones. Reporting to the workplace technology manager you will have a strong information technology background, as well as a passion for customer service.We are looking for a strong leader, with several years' experience as an IT Manager or equivalent, who can organise a busy team of support engineers to get the best out of them.As someone who is always happy to get involved and lead by example, you'll be managing a small team of 2nd line support engineers in our busy Hyderabad office. You will help resolve 2nd line support queries, as well as co-ordinate and deliver projects such as migrations, upgrades, and office technology improvements.ResponsibilitiesManage a team of engineers across the APAC region.Represent IT in a professional and confident manner to build trust and confidence in our support teams.Oversee the day-to-day IT operations of your site, including work and resource management.Help maintain office standards set out in our Global Technology Blueprint, ensuring the office environment is well maintained and functional.Act as the point of escalation for your region.Fulfilment of employee service requests.Executive and VIP support.Maintaining the user-facing infrastructure of desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and printers.Identify, log and resolve technical problems and ensure SLA's are maintained.Help manage and deliver project work.Working with Engineers to identify potential changes and system improvements to present to the workplace technology and experience manager.Maintain the CMDB. Update knowledge base.Managing hardware and software purchasing, services and support.Occasional travel to global offices.Train and mentor junior engineers always leading by example.Background: Strong leadership and organisational background.You'll have a can-do attitude, happy to get stuck in regardless of the task.Strong information technology background with demonstrable experience providing direct user-facing support. Happy to work autonomously and able to work independently as well as part of global team.Logical thinking and problem-solving skills.ITIL certified preferred.Excellent customer care.Windows PC / MAC engineering experience.Basic networking experience (TCP IP/DNS/DHCP) Experience dealing with hardware suppliers.Good communicator at various levels.Experience with Mac OS.Experience in Knowledge Management and/or Process Management Experience.Experience with MS Office 365.
