Job Description SummaryPurpose of the Job:- Well versed with Piping & Layout in Hydro Power Plant Engineering- Active participation in basic design and detail design activities.- Allotted work to be performed in defined schedule and budgeted manhours- Hands on working knowledge in E3D/Revit/ACAD tools and Navisworks- Knowledge of Multi-disciplinary design workflows and understanding of 3D co-ordination process.- Functional reporting to your Layout COE leader and operationally to the System Integrator- EHS: - Implementation EHS policy & procedures during design aspect.Job DescriptionResponsibilities:Expert on E3D/Revit & AutoCAD software for various type of hydro power plant networks routing (Piping/HVAC ducting/ Cable and Cable-tray) modelling.Generate clash check report & resolve if any interference found using Navisworks.Generate General arrangement drawings, isometrics and BOM for piping & pipe supports in E3D. Generate General Arrangement drawings & BOM for Cable Trays in E3D/Revit. Generate Powerhouse Overall Equipment Arrangement Layout drawing in Revit.Should review and comment on the customer civil drawings, Equipment GA drawings and other consortium's network drawings and streamline the Layout interface and requirementsShould proactively interact with other department for various inputs/interface requirement & keep the record. Participate/support in discussion/meetings with customershould have Layout Engineering execution experience of Hydro Power Plant, Equipment Arrangement/layout & associated network layout (piping/HVAC ducting & cable tray) using respective STD codes.Educational Requirements & ExperienceB.E. Mechanical engineer /Diploma In mechanical Engineering,Candidate should have minimum5 to 8 years' experiencein Hydro Powerplant Layouts.Behavioural and Technical Skills / CompetenciesStrong oral and written communication skills.Strong interpersonal skills and should complement teamwork.To deliver on time with quality work within stipulated time frame.Should be able to work with more than one projects simultaneously.Should have knowledge about various STD codes of piping & piping materials, ducting, cable tray etcshould have good knowledge about EHS/safety rules which shall be considered during layout engineering.should have good knowledge of equipment Loads/foundation civil requirements, equipment handling requirement.Candidate having Basic knowledge of civil structural design (beam/column/slab/steel structure) which will be an added advantage.
