Software Development
oModerate level ability in software development, such coding assignments
oFunction as member of an agile team by contributing to software builds through consistent development practices (tools, common components, and documentation)
oWriting code and unit tests, automation, and conducting code reviews and automate testing.
oDebug basic software components and identify code defects for remediation.
oEnable the deployment, support, and monitoring of software across test, integration, and production environments.
oAutomate deployments in test or production environments.
oAutomatically scale applications based on demand projections.

oWorking with product managers to prioritize features for ongoing sprints and managing a list of technical requirements based on industry trends, new technologies, known defects, and issues.
oContribution in complex Data Warehousing and Business Intelligence project implementations
oExperience in working directly with business customers.
oDefining and implementing data integration architecture

oQuickly generate and updating proof of concepts for testing and team feedback

Minimum 4 years of software development experience in a professional environment and/or comparable experience:
oBachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering or equivalent is required with hands-on expertise with application design, software development and automated testing.
oProfound Knowledgebase with Java, Spring, Spring-Boot Open source and building RESTful APIs
oExpert Java; fluency with Java 8 streams.
oKnowledgeable and experienced with real time framework, data streaming like Kafka, Filnk), in-memory computation and data virtualization tools & techniques.
oKnowledgeable and experienced with scripting languages such as Python is preferred.
oStrong UNIX shell scripting skills
oThorough understanding of XML, JSON, Web Service technologies, and data structure fundamentals
oHighly proficient in SQL and PL/SQL; Skilled at optimizing large, complicated SQL statements; Strong PL/SQL skills including complex query building and query performance tuning.
oExperience with DevOps tools, automating engineering and operational tasks.
oStrong Knowledge of logical and physical data modeling (relational, dimensional data modeling)
oFamiliarity with Time Series Databases, monitoring, instrumentation, observability tools and concepts
oProvide technical recommendations to improve efficiency of Data Management /ETL process.
oStrong dB query optimization & performance tuning skills. The ability to analyze and resolve performance issues within variety of operational environments quickly and efficiently.
oCreate/ maintain database objects such as tables, views, indexes, constraints, and SQL code, and stored procedures and shell scripts.
oFamiliar with Data Warehouse concept, ETL design, development, and maintenance with successful implementation of large Enterprise BI solutions
oExperience with design and coding across one or more platforms and languages as appropriate
oKnowledge in objected oriented analysis and design across a variety of platforms.
oDemonstrated experience in Agile development, application design, software development, and testing.
oEnsure data quality and integrity within each data set and support linkage to other appropriate data sets in consistent manner. This includes testing and validating any new database design against previous data structures.
oDemonstrated ability to analyze data concerning production volumes, batch schedules, and i/o statistics.
oAbility to effectively communicate with internal and external business partners.
oExperience with a broad range of software languages and financial business domain knowledge will be a plus.
