• Effectively recruit and retain top talent in the Systems team. • Develop and coach team members to create a high-performance culture. This includes holding regular one on one conversations with direct reports and key team members. • Responsible for creating Employee Objective and Key Results and providing timely performance feedback for these OKRs • Operationalize the India HR Strategy and meet key Health and performance measures • Act as a facilitator for your teams by removing major impediments raised in a timely manner. • Participates in budget process and is responsible with managing spending to meet budgetary goals. • Ability to understand the business goals and strategy and drive development teams to consistently improve delivery time and time to deployment. • Must have the ability to communicate complex topics to technical and non-technical audiences. • Experience running Software Development department of 120+ members. • Other duties as assigned What you'll do Requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in software development, personnel management, and knowledge of software development life cycle. Experience in Agile software methodologies like Scrum preferred. Requires at least 15 years of software development experience and a minimum of five years of that time managing all aspects of 120+ member software development team Requires 3+ years managing in globally dispersed software development teams Experience managing budgets of 8M+ Prior experience with Casino Management or Progressive systems preferred Must possess a high level of personal and professional accountability and be able to enlist the cooperation of peer groups involved in common business goals and objectives. Solid understanding of best practices and software development life cycles Strong leadership and mentoring skills. Ability to meet changing demands and to adapt to frequently changing priorities. Ability to lead a team through multiple concurrent projects on different schedules. Strong written and oral communication skills are required. Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English. Must be able to work during irregular shifts. Must be able to manage remote teams and work with multiple time zones. Assigned duties are accomplished primarily in an office/production setting. Must be able to maneuver around an office/production setting, work at a desk/workstation and respond to written and oral cues.
