Minimum Job Requirements

Educational Qualification:

Graduate in Any Stream
MBA in Sales or Retail Management will be added advantage

Experience:

15 years of experience in business development in footwear /apparel/retail industry.

Purpose of the Position (Job Summary)

In this role you will ensure timely completion of new lease transactions including renewals, expansions, terminations, and reconfiguration of existing retail outlet space.
This encompasses the entire process from working with the management / operation team in defining the requirements, lease negotiations (business and legal terms), on-site surveys, comparative financial analysis of lease transaction, and project management to affect the end result.
Your primary objective in this role is to provide adequate, cost effective outlet space for Relaxo on the continent given the market conditions working to challenging deadlines and budgetary requirements.
You will also be accountable for revenue generation for New COCO Stores and Franchise Store.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

Financial

To ensure development of site for retail store in co-ordination with project team as per AOP budget.
To look after Rent/Revenue ratio for existing and new stores.
To arrange for Closure of loss making stores -Net of discount stores
To monitor and increase sales in this FY from new COCO & Franchise stores

Customer Oriented

To establish good relation with landlord, ensure proper tough negotiation and contract management, including escalation of any issues.

People Oriented

Responsible for finalizing their project with project and maintenance team.

Internal Business Process

Responsible for Mitigating the risks and completion of legal requirements for possession of site for retail business.
To analyze actual Sales for new outlets Vs projection.
To ensure Adherence of Store Opening/Closing Schedule
To develop and implement investment models together with market player to optimize investments
To discuss with internal stake holders and governmental bodies to ensure support for expansions
To develop the annual expansion plan & budget, and will be responsible for transactions to meet the business plan
To developing regular communications with retail finance, it, legal, retail operations, project team.
