PROCESS BRIEF FactSet has an opportunity for a NoSQL Database Engineer that will add value to our team in Hyderabad, India. We are seeking for a person who is passionate about Database engineering and interested in working with cutting edge technology. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Manage NoSQL databases in Development/Staging/Production environments which are used by FactSet. Work with Linux Team to maintain stability and performance of Linux-based and underlying infrastructure. Should have knowledge of Cluster typology. Assist in Quarterly Patching and Maintenance. Assist with monitoring and on-call. Perform Automation with help of Python and Ansible. JOB REQUIREMENTS 4-6 Years of experience in Scripting. Knowledge in NoSQL databases. Ability to communicate well with other administrators and end users. Builds positive working relationships across departments and with own team members. Proactive initiative with good problem-solving skills. Experience in troubleshooting technical problems involving hardware, operating systems, and applications. HIGHLY DESIRED Scripting/Programming experience in Python is highly desirable. Previous experience in database technologies, such as Elasticsearch, Swiftstack, Hadoop Ecosystem, Memcached and Redis is a major plus. Should have working experience in tools like Ansible, Terraform or other Infrastructure tools. Technical understanding of cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure.
