About the Role
Internally this role is Data Management Consultant 2
This role will perform QA reviews of submitted data quality deliverables and tableau reporting deliverables within the Enterprise Data Quality Monitoring (eDQM) team. His/her responsibilities include coordinate with DQ Control team members to ensure QA involvement throughout data quality control implementation process.
Responsibilities:
Perform QA reviews of submitted data quality deliverables and tableau reporting deliverables in timely manner to ensure project timelines are met.
Perform QC checks on data quality controls, tableau reports and data quality tool implementation to ensure ongoing compliance with evolving data quality standards.
Coordinate with DQ Control team members to ensure QA involvement throughout data quality control development and implementation process.
Design and enhance testing processes to align with Data Quality (DQ) requirements.
Ensures adherence to data management/data governance regulations and policies.
Partners with technology support teams and/or with other business groups to ensure synergies in the teams processes.
Adheres to data governance standards and procedures.
Market Skills and Certifications
Essential Qualifications:
University degree in Business or related discipline.
6 years of experience with performing QA/QC reviews and checks for data compliance including the development of test scripts and test plans.
2 years of data management experience, data analysis experience, or a combination of both
2 years SQL development or Ab Initio DQE or Enterprise Metadata Hub
Must be able to adapt to change well
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
Desired Qualifications:
Knowledge and understanding of data quality monitoring practices and procedures
Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities and achieve results
Ability to exercise independent judgment and creative problem solving techniques
Basic knowledge and understanding of financial industry compliance requirements
Knowledge and understanding of data governance challenges and approaches: metadata, data quality, and data stewardship
Experience developing and monitoring compliance with policy and standards, specifically around data quality
Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment
Information technology experience
Experience deploying and leveraging program management tools (e.g. SharePoint, JIRA, Microsoft Project, Tableau, Collibra)
1 years in an audit and/or compliance function
1 years of experience performing data defect analysis and remediation
1 years of experience with data-related technology systems
1 years of experience producing data artifacts, evidence to demonstrate adherence
Ability to interact with all levels of an organization
Ability to facilitate team meetings or present information to an audience
Knowledge and understanding of financial industry compliance requirements
