about the role

Know latest trends on various NMS tools, applicability & advantages. Hands-on experience in Installation, Management, deployement & monitoring of NMS tool .

Candidates should able to perform following activities smartly:

Knowledge of Network Management, NMS software applications and NMS applications platforms.

The focus is on Cisco NMS, solarwinds, HP etc.

NMS Implemenatation on UCS and also OEM proprietary platform.

Define monitoring parameters, reports & hence scope for delivery team.

Analyze, use and configure network management applications for medium to critical complex networks

Manage workload and other assignments efficiently while being able to resolve time-critical situations reliable and professionally

Provide systems product training and mentoring to others and assist in problem resolution where required

Escalate systems and problems to L3 resources and resolve on a timely basis

Accurately and completely document problems and solutions on case notes and bug reports

Perform lab testing for advance configuration & troubleshooting on NMS tools

Overall part of Cisco Prime Infrastructure Deployment, Licensing, Configuration, Operation Troubleshooting, Reporting and Analysis.

about you

Minimum 3-4 years of experience with Network Management Architecture, Wireless and routing switching technologies
Knowledge on virtualization

Strong SNMP & NETWORK PROTOCOL skill.

Good knowledge on Linux & Windows server.

Good knowledge on database ORACLE & SQL.
Knowledge of TCP/IP v4, Cisco Routers, Cisco switches, AAA, Radius is desired

Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing

Ability to work with cross-functional teams

Ability to determine problems and deliver known solutions
Ability to work effectively with and provide guidance to other members of the work group

Also having knowledge on monitoring, network security, performance, capacity & environmental alarms & events.

Deep understanding of Cisco Prime Infrastructure , LMS, NAM, Cisco Mobility Services Engine, automation, ISE integration, netflow analysizer etc.
