NTT DATA Services currently seeks a Credit Specialist to join our team in Chennai , Tamil Nadu (IN-TN) , India (IN) . Credit Specialist Principal Responsibilities (Actual job role/Key deliverables) are to: • Review the customer’s full TGE (Total Group Exposures) to ensure it’s accurate. • Review existing customer file and source systems to establish what key information is required to complete the annual review and support completion of a customer information request email. • Review and analyse customer financial information, including audited accounts, projections and forecasts, and be able to demonstrate their understanding of key metrics, historic comparisons and impacts/risk analysis on borrowings and comment accurately and briefly on same. • Comprehensively interrogate and analyse financial accounts to identify cash movements and produce a financial report that incorporates a summary analysis of the Profit & Loss Account, repayment capacity and the Balance Sheet. • Test Covenants to identify breaches. • Highlight material risk profile movements to support the Relationship Managers overall risk analysis of the connection. • Adhere to all appropriate and agreed standardised processes and procedures. • Review, keep up to date with, and fully abide by BBLS operational and administrative procedures, together with Bank Credit Policy. • Update and maintain the MI tracker which supports oversight and monitoring of the workflow Preferred Skills (Preferred/Desired skill set) expected from the applicant: • Ability to: o Analyse financial accounts and demonstrate a good understanding and application of accounting principles. o Prepare Credit review commentary based on financial analysis.(USGAAP & IFRS) • Credit Analyst work experience in lending, credit underwriting, analysis of financial account, etc., • Excellent report writing skills. • Be able to articulate detail clearly and concisely, and, bring messages and arguments to life for target audiences. • Strong problem solving and decision making skills. • Ability to work on own initiative • Self-motivated individual with an ability to work to tight deadlines • Willingness to learn and embrace change in a fast moving environment. Qualification and other Preferences (If any): • Graduate (Any/preferred – Commerce background) with minimum of 5 years of work experience in an international BPO Banking process • Candidates with CA / CA-inter / ICWA / ICWA-Inter preferred • 5 years of experience in the financial services industry that required an understanding of lending and accounting concepts. • Excellent communication skills with the ability to positively influence and work collaboratively with key stakeholders. • Flexible team player who will promote and implement continuous improvement initiatives across the team. • Flexible to work in Shift timings (UK shift timings).
