As a valuation analyst, you'll work on the Insight Factory team of commercial, operations, and financial analysts to perform company analysis, identify business challenges, and recommend solutions.

Preferred knowledge and skills:
The valuation analyst should have at least five years of public and private company valuation experience, including financial modeling and qualitative analysis. This experience should include:
Discounted cash flow and economic profit models, with associated sensitivity analyses
Operating and non-operating drivers of shareholder value
Financial statement analysis, including ratio trends and benchmarking
In depth industry, market, and company research to inform models, check assumptions, and test results

The valuation analyst will use the above to derive cohesive points of view on strategic implications for our clients, in consultation with the broader Insight Factory team.

Successful analysts should also:
Learn and apply emerging valuation methodologies and techniques
Write reports and effectively communicate implications of analysis
Troubleshoot project issues with the broader IF team and elevate to leadership as appropriate

Preferred Fields of Study:Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, Science, Statistics, Business Analytics, Engineering

Other:
An MBA, Masters of Finance, or progress in the CFA exams is preferable.
UiPath or Alteryx experience is helpful
Experience in a consulting or corporate finance environment is preferred
