About the position:

The Computerized Maintenance Management System Lead oversees a team within the Chevron ENGINE Center that provides knowledge and expertise in the CMMS master data administration and change management.

The CMMS Lead works collaboratively with cross-functional operations facing teams both within Business Units and the wider ENGINE organization (BU CMMS Teams, Core Maintenance Planning, Turnaround Maintenance Planning, Reliability Engineering, Fixed Equipment & Inspection, Designs Engineering, Process Engineering). The role will also interface with wider enterprise teams including BU & Central Digital Core Teams to ensure alignment and incorporate best practices into the process.

Key responsibilities:

Management of Change
The CMMS Lead and team is responsible for facilitating and processing master data changes in a quality manner

Responsible for accurate and timely processing of changes

Utilizes existing business processes and governance for facilitating approvals for changes and reporting tools for visibility of progression changes within the change lifecycle

Define, manage and administer CMMS roles & user authority levels for the businesses it supports

People Management
Provides leadership and performance management of direct reports

Manages competency and development of direct reports (technical and soft skill development)

Training
Ensure Training Materials, User Guides are available and up to date

Ownership of the BU's CMMS
Responsible for the CMMS's ability to meet BU needs and requirements

Administer global and local CMMS update processes

Understand cross-functional impacts of configuration and master data changes between ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) modules and other CMMS integrated systems such as VIZIYA, Prometheus, DevMan, Digital Twin (Engineering Master Data) and localized BU DataLake products (e.g. S3)

Configuration and Testing CMMS
Manage the development, testing and configuration of the CMMS to meet current and future business needs, ensuring usability is maintained

Manage the development of User Acceptance Testing scenarios and the completion of testing as required for ongoing change initiatives

Act as a Business Subject Matter Expert for initiatives managed by Business Unit Information Systems, Information Technology Surface Digital functions (e.g. JD Edwards Upgrade). Manage the development of business scenarios and test scripts for any upgrades or new functionality implementations

Data Standards & Digital Core
Ensures CMMS data alignment to Chevron's Facilities Integrity and Reliability Management (FIRM) processes/initiatives

Stay informed about, and actively participate in the ongoing enhancement of the CMMS Global & Local Standards as well as future Digital Core standards

Stay informed about Digital Core based BU transition timelines. Promote strategies to aid the Digital Core team in data transition and modify existing business processes to prevent future data clean-up during or after the DC transition

Required qualifications:

At least 5-10 years of relevant CMMS Master Data experience required. Strong proficiency in CMMS products JD Edwards or Maximo is essential (both preferred). Additional experience with SAP or SAP4HANA is highly desirable

Experience with Operations, Maintenance and Reliability within Industrial Complex Processing Facilities. LNG, Refining Petrochemical, Offshore Platform assets

Degree or Trade Qualified in relevant Maintenance or Engineering or Data Science Discipline

Demonstrated ability to lead teams completing technical or transactional business processes is preferred

Experience with Operations, Maintenance and Reliability within Industrial Complex Processing Facilities. LNG, Refining Petrochemical, Offshore Platform assets is preferred

2-5 years of Maintenance trade planning and/or scheduling experience is desirable

Expertise in data manipulation and analysis using Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerBI/PowerQuery, and SQL is preferred

Experience in mentoring, coaching, and training is desirable

Logical and Critical thinking skills are preferred are preferred

Exceptional organizational and communication skills are preferred

Chevron ENGINE supports global operations, supporting business requirements across the world. Accordingly, the work hours for employees will be aligned to support business requirements. The standard work week will be Monday to Friday. Working hours are 8:00am to 5:00pm or 1:30pm to 10:30pm.
