Collaboration Ops Engineer
The Collaboration and Productivity team at Millennium manages e-mail, chat, mobility, file sharing, and M365 services globally. We are looking for a highly experienced engineer to provide specialized expertise and guidance on Microsoft M365 email and SharePoint products. You will be responsible for the evaluation, deployment, and management of these products in our environment.
Principal Responsibilities:
L2 and L3 engineering and operations responsibilities for Microsoft Exchange Online, Microsoft Exchange on-prem, and SharePoint Online.
Email - User and mailbox management, configuration and maintenance, monitoring and optimization, backup and disaster recovery, integration with other services, policy management, reporting & analytics.
SharePoint Online/Office 365: Oversee the administration, configuration, and maintenance of the SharePoint Online & O365 environment, including but not limited to user and permissions management, content management, customization and development, maintenance and updates, backup and recovery, compliance and governance, integration and collaboration, monitoring and reporting.
Deploy changes and updates on weekends during approved change windows.
User support and training: Provide support to end-users, troubleshoot issues, and conduct training sessions to enhance user adoption and proficiency.
Review and document existing infrastructure and procedures.
Collaborate with the global infrastructure teams on projects, new services and features.
Engage with internal teams such as Compliance and Information Security.
Analyze and improve processes through automation and workflows.
Monitor market trends related to Microsoft M365 products and their competitors.
Qualifications
Minimum 7 years experience deploying and managing Microsoft M365 products, specifically Exchange Online and Exchange on-prem.
Recommended to have three plus years of experience with SharePoint Online.
Experience in regulated financial services firm preferred.
Expertise with M365 Compliance management, including E-Discovery, Data Residency, Privacy and Security.
Experience with scripting (PowerShell) and APIs specifically for Microsoft SaaS services.
Operates with moderate supervision and exercises independent judgement in problem resolution.?
