Reporting to the Team Lead – Offers & Logistics and working in a challenging and exciting environment within Offers & Logistics team, you will be:
·Actively partnering with and supporting the Talent Acquisition Partner , Regional HR Ops and other stakeholders to ensure recruitment demand is met within the given timelines
·Conducting pre-employment screening checks including medicals and managing various vendors to ensure new starters are compliant with Rio Tinto standards
·Administering the vendor’s portal for collection of critical candidate information including ID, medical availability as required and flagging any delays proactively with the on shore stakeholders and taking necessary steps to mitigate the delays
·Authentication of candidate’s data , business /cost centre related data across various recruitment and ticketing tools like Cornerstone on Demand, Recruitment Automation Tool , RTTMS , SAP etc to ensure complete and accurate information leading to preparing of employment contracts for all new hires, Contractor Conversions and employee movements
·End to end ownership for managing candidate’s relocation in alignment with RT policies across regions
·Conceptualization & Analysis of various workload reports to track progress and ensure cycle time is met for a successful business outcome
·Maintaining portfolio hygiene by utilizing above mentioned reports and analysing recruitment activities for continuous improvement and aligning the deliverables in line with the business requirements
·Proactively and effectively manage candidate as well as Hiring Leader Survey (critical component of the Service Delivery Model)
·Addressing candidates and Hiring leader’s queries regarding Checks, Contracts, Rem recommendation, relocation & on boarding.
·Effectively managing candidate information and storing all the relevant documents in a secured and organized manner and assist in the archiving process
·Partnering with the onshore recruitment team / New starters team to manage all pre-boarding activities for new hires (including their PPE , uniforms and other essentials for commencement)
·Complying with and ensuring complete adherence to all data protection policies and guidelines
·Managing escalations at an individual level and escalating workload issues when required
·Conducting mandatory Pre- Employment & Medical audits as a compliance initiative and reporting outcomes to Senior PS leadership
·Providing any other in scope support within the agreed scope and timeframes
·Working in a safe manner and considering the safety of others at all times
What you’ll bring
To be successfully considered for this role, you will have:
·A graduate degree in any discipline
·4-6 years of work experience in Human Resource/Offers/Recruitment background
·Intermediate to advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word/ Excel/ PowerPoint)
·Excellent verbal and written communication skills
·The flexibility of working in shifts (anytime between 7 AM – 11 PM)
