Responsibilities

Create, analyze and update Aged Receivable reports to identify customers that require follow-up for past due invoices. This will include contacting customers by phone, email or using web-based applications such as OpenInvoice, Cortex and ARIBA
Communicate with the Credit Team the status of collection attempts, soliciting assistance when needed on difficult accounts
Identify invoice errors, payment discrepancies, disputes or missing documentation and discuss with the customer, Billings and/or Sales and Marketing for immediate resolution
Record, code, post and balance customer and miscellaneous payments in SAP/Dynamics
Prepare weekly Credit status reports for distribution to key internal stakeholders
Reconcile abandonment program receipts
Gather credit information and perform credit analysis for new and existing customers
Ad Hoc duties as required
Assist with special projects as directed by the Director, Finance and Treasurer
Prepare Excel spreadsheets, graphs and financial analysis, as required by Operations Finance

Education
Working towards an accounting degree or the Certified Credit Professionals (CCP) designation

Experience
1 to 2 years experience in a Corporate environment (preferably in the oil and gas industry)
Knowledge of ERP systems preferably SAP and/or Dynamics
