Process Overview
Business Controls Monitoring and Readiness team oversees Risk Management Governance Structure for GBS to ensure strong sustainable risk management practices supporting the GBS’s responsibility for identifying, escalating and debating the risks associated with its business activities. This includes driving the implementation and sustainability of appropriate quality assurance to ensure ongoing compliance with laws, rules and regulations, and BAC internal policies and procedures.
Job Description
As a part of the BCMR Engagement team, the position will work closely with the Functional leaders to assess the soundness of the control environment. The role will include understanding the operational risk within the functions, providing related risk assessment and acting as an advisor to the business on risk issues. The position will be responsible to review and evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of the systems and processes, reliability of reporting, compliance with policies and procedures, applicable laws and regulations. The position will also be responsible to design and execute plans to strengthen internal controls, enhance quality assurance thereby reducing operational risk.
Responsibilities:
Business Analytics – Practice of iterative, methodical exploration of the organization’s data with an emphasis on statistical analysis.

Providing business leaders with insights into their area of responsibility by enabling them to analyze, communicate, monitor, and plan through a variety of approaches.
Working with Engagements leaders to understand their information needs and help them develop an approach for their own analysis.
Collaborating with key business leaders (data owners) to establish the technical vision and analyze tradeoffs between usability and performance needs.
Creation and maintenance of critical reports and dashboards to help leaders monitor their portfolio performance, improve efficiency and reduce waste. Interpreting results using a variety of techniques, ranging from simple data aggregation via statistical analysis to complex data mining and visual representation.
Providing administrative support for GBS Risk and Control executive by preparing for key meetings (All Hands, Executive Presentations, Organizational Change, Learning and Headcount reports).
Requirements:
Exp Range: 12 -15 years
Education :Any Graduate (preferred : Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics)
Mandatory Skills:
Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office applications – PowerPoint, Excel and Word and ability to work on these without any support.
Effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to deliver clear and concise messages ensuring understanding and acknowledgement.
Ability to juggle differing priorities simultaneously.
Good planning and organizational skills
