JOB DESCRIPTION REQUIREMENTS Required Experience 3-5 years of past experience as a paralegal or legal assistant. Language Skills Fluency in Spanish and English is required. Desired language skills in Portuguese and French. Language skill in French are strongly desired. Additional aspects Corporate experience, preferably in large and matrixial corporations. Experience with contract management systems or litigation management systems is desired. Experience dealing with contracts. Experience with more than one country in the region is an advantage. Minimum bachelor's degree Key responsibilities Legal support on low complexity and high-volume Agreements Support the creation and implementation of the processes and procedures for drafting, reviewing and advising on low complexity and high-volume Agreements for LAC region; Support the creation and implementation of the processes and procedures for using the contract management system adopted by LAC region, both by legal (including external counsel) and businesses (operating divisions and supporting functions); Train and support users of the contract management system with the operational doubts and/or queries in connection to (i) the use of the contract management system; (ii) the procedures in place for the legal work in connection with low complexity and high-volume Agreements in LAC; Support the creation of a repository of applicable templates for low complexity and high-volume agreements in LAC as well as partnering with a Lawyer support the review and harmonization of templates; Partner with Optimization Center Legal Counsels on assigned matters; Supervises the contract management system and related KPI implemented; Established Pharmaceutical Division - L&A Deals (Distributions) Direct support for low/medium complexity distribution L&A deals for Brazil, Argentina, Uruguay and Paraguay (APBU), providing the legal support for the BD team in region and local BD teams responsible for those countries. Activities comprise negotiation and support for the legal review of Confidentiality Agreements - CDAs, Non-Binding Term Sheets - NBTS, Due Diligence - DD reports in connection with L&A projects in partnership with an Optimization Center Legal Counsel; Assist attorneys in resolving legal issues on L&A projects involving multiple disciplines within the Legal Division and/or multiple functional areas or divisions within Abbott; Support attorneys on more complex legal agreements, assembling exhibits and schedules, coordinating input from other stakeholders; Prepare project update reports including but not limited to ongoing and new projects, contracts, litigation ensuring information is up to date and accurate; Maintains the overview on timelines and deliverables in all assigned projects; Support the creation and dissemination of tools and resources for the businesses and ILO organization in connection with L&A distribution deals in the region;
