Work Experience : - 10 Years in sales and min. 5 yrs in building products industry. - Experience must include 3-4 years as a State Head or Manager for the entire state. - Must be handling a team of atleast 3-4 direct reports on company roles. - Must have experience of Distributor management, channel development as well as demand generation. - Companies to consider : sanitaryware, CP fittings, tanks, hardware, construction chemicals, tiles, plywood, valves, paints" Responsibilities & Accountabilities : - To manage network of distributors in the territory - Monitor distributor performance and manage growth - To identify new distributors in unrepresented areas or as specified by seniors - To monitor and manage the team of CPGE under him - Identify gaps in the territory and direct CPGE working accordingly - Manage the distributors day to day issues - Oversee relationship with the top retailer accounts of the area - Coordinate with PSM's for requirement of demand generation activities - Manage relationship and manage distributor business. Ensure adequate stocks available at each distributor. - Take feedback of distributor services from juniors and sort out issues. - Identify need of new distributors in existing areas. Keep a list of options and prospectives ready. - Must meet all distributors in his area atleast once a month. - Report competitor activities - Develop and manage schemes - Plan and manage promotional and branding activities in the territory - Ensure Compliances to company policy in the area - Maintaining Customer Database for His Area for all future needs. - Functional/Deptt.
