The AI Engineering Manager will lead teams driving high-impact AI/ML initiatives across Ericsson's 4G/5G networks, distributed cloud, IoT, and emerging technologies. This role will focus on accelerating existing offerings and developing new AI-driven solutions to enhance growth and profitability for Ericsson and its customers. 

Key Responsibilities: 
Oversee the development, support, maintenance, and implementation of AI/ML projects within BEWS AI Engineering. 
Strategically align AI/ML units with organizational business goals. 
Provide technical programming guidance, including hands-on coding when necessary. 
Manage teams working on: 
Functional and technical analysis to address ML-driven business needs. 
Development of high-quality AI/ML applications using massive 5G network, IoT, and external datasets. 
Designing predictive models, anomaly detection systems, recommendation engines, and deep learning solutions. 
Exploring new/existing data sources and collaborating with Data Architects. 
Partnering with product teams to integrate ML models into Ericsson solutions. 
Championing new technologies in Ericsson's MI Communities. 
Building AI/ML competencies across Ericsson businesses and customer units. 
Innovating and applying AI/ML methodologies for cross-functional initiatives. 
Ensure performance and technical growth of AI teams. 
Develop hiring plans, training, and staffing roadmaps. 
Resolve critical technical and strategic issues impacting the organization. 

Key Qualifications: 
Education: Bachelor's/Master's in engineering. MBA or PG Diploma is a plus. 
Experience: ~15 years in the industry, with at least 5 years in managerial roles, preferably in design or systems management. 
Technical Expertise: AI, ML, Big Data, and Analytics experience preferred. Strong technical knowledge across disciplines with a business-aligned approach. 
Leadership & Strategy: Ability to balance strategic vision with operational execution. Strong analytical skills and a pragmatic approach to problem-solving. 
Collaboration: Proven experience working across multiple countries and stakeholders at all levels. 
People Management: Strong skills in talent acquisition, motivation, and retention. 
Communication: Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. 
Work Ethic: Self-motivated, well-organized, and results-driven with high integrity and initiative.
