Job Summary

A professional who is willing to share, adapt and expand their ideas and experiences with the employees of the organization. This role is best suited for an individual with deep understanding of Agile practices, Scrum, Kanban, and Agile at scale, and a passion for mentoring others. Collaboration, communication, problem solving, interpersonal skills, and an agile mindset are a must for this position.

Essential Functions of the Job

Train, guide, support product owners, product managers, business stakeholders in defining product vision, strategy, roadmap, benefits measures
Facilitate and mentor development teams and business stakeholders to be successful in faster delivery of value
Responsible for defining strategy for the organizational adoption of Agile which includes employee education, fostering teams and cultures that practice Agile
Participate and support cultural change and collaborate with other coaches for accelerating and advancing the organization's transformation
Develop and deliver training materials and workshops for building knowledge and skills to facilitate the Agile transformation
Train and coach employees at all levels, including senior leadership, Product Owners, Product Managers, Scrum Masters, Scrum Teams, Business Analysts and business Stakeholders in all aspects of Scrum and Kanban across different geographic locations
Define, implement and sustain Agile process, principles and practices across all levels and departments in the organization and continually offering strategies for improvement.
Define and implement framework, processes and practices for agile at scale, SAFe framework
Conducts and manages maturity assessments for Agile teams to help them develop and grow in their Agile journey
Guide and support teams in implementing Agile methodology and provide feedback and recommendations for improvement
Work towards increase in collaboration, predictability, transparency and promote a culture of innovation and continuous improvement
Supported communities of practices to promote organizational understanding of Agile practices and to help employees learn them
Develops and maintains stakeholder relationships supporting Agile product development
Keep informed and educated about industry trends concerning Agile methodologies

Knowledge and Skills Requirements

Prior experience of coaching teams, Scrum Masters, Business Analysts, Managers and Executives on Agile values and principles
Prior experience of working in a product development environment, guiding product development activities
Experience in guiding product managers, product owners and business teams on defining product strategy, roadmap, user persona, story mapping, prioritization
Prior experience of participating in organization wide Agile transformation initiatives and coordinated Agile adoption for teams across many projects, departments
Experience of working in scaled agile engagements (SAFe/LeSS/Nexus etc.) as an Agile Coach, RTE, Product manager
Brought in Agile best practices such as transparency, accountability, technical debt reduction, self-management, empowerment
Facilitated Scrum of Scrum, PO Sync, ART Sync events is an advantage
Assertive in communicating process gaps and enthusiastic about Agile practices and benefits
Should possess great interpersonal skills, teaching abilities, and ability to inspire and motivate

Education and Experience

B.Tech and MBA
IT Professionals with (15 - 20 years of experience)

Certification Requirements

Possessing one or more of the following certifications is an advantage.

Agile Coach Certification
Scaled Agile Certifications (SPC, SA, PMPO, RTE etc.)
Scrum Master/Kanban Certification (CSM, PSM, KMP etc.)
PMP, or any other project management certification
Six Sigma green belt certification
